How to Reach Jamboree City

The Jamboree venue is about 40 Km. from Tiruchirappalli International Airport, 33 Km from Tiruchirappalli Railway Junction, 33 Km. from Tiruchirappalli Central bus stand, 37 Km. from Tiruchirappalli Chatram bus stand, 8 Km. from Manapparai bus stand and Manapparai Railway Station. Jamboree site is located at Trichirappalli – Manapparai Road on NH-45. The transportation and information center will be available at all Railway Stations and bus stands to reach Jamboree site.

Passes and Permission

Identity Card or Pass is a must for everybody in the Jamboree site. Scouts and Guides, Rovers nand Rangers will not be permitted to go out of the Jamboree area. However, the contingent staff members, through the contingent leaders, can obtain passes from the security counter for going out to the town. All supporting staff will be provided with identity card to facilitate heir movement in Jamboree area

Participation

Around 3000 participants from Tamil Nadu and 11,000 participants from other States of India
and 1000 from overseas is the strength fixed by the state Approximately 15,000

Eligibility

Scouts & Guides between the age of 13 to 17 years and having completed at least Dwitiya Sopan, led by Adult Leader. The team will be created on the basis of 9 +1 quantity
